Papier Mache - original song (revised)
BackI've always been very embarrassed by this song because I think it's very obvious that it's the first one I ever wrote and also because as far as break up songs go it's rather insipid. Anyway, I was going to delete when I remembered something that Ron said (rhopen ... check him out) in one of his videos where he put an old poem to music and was embarrassed by the angst in the words but thought it was dishonest to change them because they represented what he felt at the time. So I realised that the reason this song lacks guts is because when this particular event occurred, I was a few weeks away from giving birth to our child and it had been a horrible, horrible year. I simply had no fight left in me.
