Deep Roots 2008 Hot Club of Cow Town
BackWhen Francois asked me to provide the drum kit for Hot Club of Cow Towns drummer Damien Llanus I was a little worried. I knew that Damien played for the Texas funk band Barfield and who knows how many other great bands and I wasnt too sure that he would like my Ebay drums, yard sale hardware and do-it-yourself cymbals. But being the pro that he is (and a really nice guy) he played them and made them sound like a real drum set. Heres a clip of the HCOCT from stage right starting with Damiens quick snappy solo. My little camera doesnt do the sound any justice, but you dont often get to see this angle of a live performance.
